ARISE’s unwavering commitment to women’s health has made a significant impact over the years. We have been a pioneering force in preventive healthcare in Nigeria, and to date, we have provided free healthcare services to an average of about 40,000 individuals, encompassing men, women, and children, since our inception. Our dedication to improving the health and well-being of the community remains steadfast.

Through our initiatives, over 20,000 women have received free preventive medical care, including HIV tests, eye tests, reading glasses, blood pressure checks, blood sugar level tests, malaria parasite tests, typhoid tests, cervical screenings, and dental care at our annual conferences.

We have collaborated with like-minded organisations such as Emzor Pharmaceuticals, Cadbury, May & Baker, Evans, CMDA, Women of Faith Doctors, Famfa Oil, and dedicated individuals who have played a vital role in making this impact possible.

Through our “Adopt a Village” scheme, we have established a thriving health centre in the community of Dafara equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment. The health centre has had a profound impact on the health and well-being of the community, and we are proud to report that the centre’s maternity wing has played a significant role in ensuring safe deliveries and reducing infant mortality.

Since the inception of the health centre, we have witnessed the birth of over 60 children, and we are overjoyed to announce that we have achieved a remarkable feat—zero maternal and neonatal mortality.

To expand our reach, we commissioned the Arise Mobile Clinics and have visited schools like Queen’s College and Methodist Girls High School, providing free medical care for students, parents and staff members. Additionally, in 2014, we established a Free Women’s Clinic at Healing Stripes Hospital in Victoria Island to ensure regular access to free medical care for women.
